My love for making art is what got me into art education. I consider myself an artists first, then an educator. As creative professionals, it is difficult to find time to make our own work. Generally, it takes me a couple of months to complete my colored pencil pieces, but I find it so important to continue with my personal passions. Colored pencil is favorite media, but I also love to experiment with illustration marker, inks, paint sticks, water soluble media and digital art.
